Ted DiBiase reconoce el consumo de esteroides

Ted Dibiase Sr., el auténtico "Million Dollar Man" ha reconocido en The Courier (diario británico) el consumo de esteroides y cocaína de manera puntual en su etapa como wrestler en activo:

"I took steroids (during my WWF career) for a very short time. It should be obvious by looking at me that I didn't take them regularly because I was in good shape, but I was never massive. My strength was my ability to talk and my work in the ring. I always looked like an athlete but I didn't look like Charles Atlas.
"Tomé esteroides (durante mi carrera en WWF) por un periodo muy corto de tiempo. Es obvio al verme que no tomaba regularmente porque, aunque estuviera en buena forma, nunca tuve un aspecto exagerado. Mi fuerza era mi habilidad para hablar y mi trabajo en el ring. Siempre he parecido un atleta pero nunca como Charles Atlas."

"The thing about the steroids was I was always afraid of them and I finally had a doctor tell me about the effects and that warned me right off them - that was it for me with that stuff. The only other drug I took for a while was cocaine. Now this doesn't sound like the Million Dollar Man, but I stopped doing that because I was cheap - I didn't want to spend the money on it!"

"No tomaba esteroides porque siempre me han dado miedo y finalmente un doctor me comentó los efectos que tiene, avisándome que debía mantenerme lejos de ellos. La única droga que también tomé puntualmente fue cocaína. Lo que diré no suena a Million Dollar Man, pero paré porque era pobre y no quería gastarme el dinero en ello".
